This peer driven drop-in group welcomes all students interested in planning social meetups and engaging in activities that enrich and expand your college experience beyond the usual.

Intuitive Eating Workshop

Join our 5-week Intuitive Eating Workshop to explore and practice the principles of intuitive eating. This series will guide you through reconnecting with your body's natural hunger cues, fostering a positive relationship with food, and letting go of dieting habits. Through supportive discussions, practical exercises, and mindful eating techniques, you'll gain the tools to nourish your body intuitively and confidently. No diets, no rules—just a path to listening to and honoring your body's needs.

If you choose to consume alcohol, learn how to reduce risks for harm to your body, your brain, your peers, your reputation, and academic performance.  This class is particularly helpful to any student in the psychology, social work, or other human services field who wants to take a deeper dive into understanding harm reduction, neuroscience and addiction.

Join us for a viewing of a body-positive documentary intent on inspiring change.  FATTITUDE offers alternative ideas that embrace body acceptance at all sizes, explores examples of fat positive representations being produced today by activists and the media, and focuses on real-life solutions for moving forward and changing the national conversation about body image.

Academic Courses 

LIFETIME ACTIVITY PROGRAM (LAP): WELLNESS 
An 8-week, 2-credit course on wellness is taught each semester. The course provides students with opportunities to learn about wellness, emotional wellness, self-compassion, boundaries, values, and strengths. The course concludes with students designing a plan of action to help them move confidently towards their personalized wellness vision. Taught by Dawn D. Zitney, Well-Being Educator/Counselor. Register for the spring 2026 course when registration opens later this semester.
