Why did you choose to become a hall director?
I believe that the residential experience is a critical part of a college student's education and I am super passionate about being an educator in that capacity. Watching students learn to advocate for themselves and learn what it means to be a good community member is what drives me to do this work.
Why did you choose to work at Res Life at UNH?
Aside from the gorgeous campus, I felt really welcomed by the staff here at UNH and everyone is so passionate about the student experience. It has been such a great community to be a part of!
What advice would you give to students?
Always keep exploring and discovering new things about yourself. In college there’s a lot of pressure to know who you are or to figure everything out in four short years. But life doesn’t end when college does, and you don’t have to have everything figured out. Instead, take these four years to explore and learn and meet people as much as you can. You never know where those things will lead you!
