Advertising in Housing

Housing and Residential Life is committed to fostering an engaging and vibrant campus community. One way to share events, initiatives, and important information with students is through approved advertisement in our on-campus residence halls and apartments. To ensure consistency and maintain a welcoming residential environment, we have developed the guidelines below for advertising within on-campus housing.

Advertisement Options

The following advertisement options are available to promote within on-campus housing:

Instagram posts and stories

Ads in community newsletters

Bulletin board flyers

  • Advertisements are only accepted from a recognized student organization or University department.
  • Advertisements should generally be for events, programs, initiatives, and information relevant to UNH residential students.
  • Housing and Residential Life reserves the right to make final approval or deny all postings.
  • Any non-approved advertisements, outreach, or postings found in on-campus housing will be removed.

Instagram

We can help promote on our residence hall and community Instagram accounts.

  • Posts should be done as JPGs or PNGs that are formatted as:
    • Stories: 1080px by 1920px
  • The timing of sharing posts and stories is not regulated, so hall staff will try their best to share information, but we cannot guarantee posts and stories will be shared by a certain timeline.

Residential Newsletters

While much of the information in each residence hall newsletter is from the hall staff, we like to include information from University offices and departments. This is an excellent way to get information about your events and deadlines for a large portion of the UNH population. Newsletters are typically posted for at least 3 weeks.
