According to a July 17-published听report by the Carsey School of Public Policy, the hardest hit sector nationally, and in every state, has been leisure and hospitality, in which the accommodation and food services industry has lost 27% of its employment. This equals approximately 3.9 million jobs. UNH will lead a master teacher program to support STEM education in Manchester, Nashua and Rochester schools.

UNH researchers have identified new pathways in an RNA-based virus where inhibitors, like medical treatments, unbind. The finding could be beneficial in understanding how these inhibitors react and potentially help develop a new generation of drugs to target viruses with high death rates, like HIV-1, Zika, Ebola and SARS-CoV2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

Kristine Bundschuh, researcher at the Carsey school, recently joined NHPR's Morning Edition Host Rick Ganley to discuss her research on migration patterns to New Hampshire. She co-authored this research with Carsey School Senior Demographer Ken Johnson.
