Why did you choose to become a hall director?
I love working with people! During my undergrad, I was a Resident Assistant for three years, and I fell in love with the work I was doing, creating communities and helping my residents make the most of their time in college. Being able to create a positive impact and provide students with the experience that I was fortunate enough to have in college is why I chose to become a Hall Director.
Why did you choose to work at Res Life at UNH?
I'm a big fan of the location of the campus. I love New England and being surrounded by nature! That being said, we are so close to places like Portsmouth and Boston, you can visit them as well. The mission of the Res Life team at UNH also really aligns with my own, and how we prioritize the student experience on campus.
What advice would you give to students?
Put yourself out there, join a club, do a sport, be a part of the campus. Your college years are going to fly by in the blink of an eye, so take advantage of everything you can while you're here and make the most of your time at UNH.
