SMART Scholarship Recipient
Daniel Lavoie '26, a Computer Science major in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, was awarded a SMART Scholarship, which provides students unique hands-on experience at one of 200-plus innovative laboratories that exist across the Army, Navy, Air Force and Department of Defense.
About SMART: SMART offers scholarships for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students currently pursuing a degree in one of the 21 STEM disciplines. SMART scholars receive full tuition, annual stipends, internships, and guaranteed employment with the DoD after graduation.
