Value: Living stipend based on the Department of State's Cost-of-Living index and housing costs in the host country.
Eligibility: U.S. citizenship; college seniors, graduate students, and young professionals in a variety of fields who have had limited exposure to Asia.

Luce Recommended Steps and Timeline
- By May 6, 2025: Review to ensure you are eligible for the award and .
- By June 24, 2025: Complete LSP Application (Personal Background Information, Academic Information, and Professional Information).
- June -- August, 2025: Complete draft and revisions of your three short-answer essays, personal statement, and 1 - 2-minute video.
- By July 1, 2025: Meet with Office of National Fellowships to discuss potential referees and brainstorm ideas for the 1 - 2-minute video.
- By July 15, 2025: Send the names and contact information of your reference writers to the Office of National Fellowships.
- By August 5, 2025: Sign and return the nomination agreement form to national.fellowships@unh.edu.
- September 14, 2025:Submit application to Luce ahead of deadline to allow sufficient time for upload.
- September 15, 2025: NATIONAL DEADLINE.
