Ecological Restoration is further defined as “the process of assisting the recovery of an ecosystem that has been degraded, damaged, or destroyed. Ecological restoration seeks to initiate or accelerate ecosystem recovery following damage, degradation, or destruction." The goal of this fellowship is to support research that will advance knowledge and increase the number of scientists in the important field of ecological restoration, the active healing of the land. Provides an annual grant for $8000 for study and research at a leading accredited university in the United States.
