The Â鶹app Police Department is accredited by the . We achieved this status in 2007, and in 2020 reached our current level of Advanced Accreditation with Excellence- Fifth Award. As a law enforcement agency, accreditation means that we have created, adopted and follow high standards of policy, training, structure and documentation. These high standards are reflected in the work that we do every day to serve the Â鶹app Community.
The Â鶹app Police Department is also accredited by the . Initial accreditation was granted on May 9, 2008, and in 2024 the agency received its 5th re-accreditation award.
IACLEA accreditation focuses on campus law enforcement practices and requires campus police to comply with progressive standards to ensure that the delivery of police services to its community is at the highest level of professionalism and integrity. The standards focus on management, administration, operations, and support services.
