UNH celebrated the Durham undergraduate Class of 2022 at commencement festivitiesĚýonĚýcampus May 21 and 22, sending the graduates off withĚýfour ceremonies on Memorial Field between Saturday and Sunday.
The keynote address was delivered by Martin Kimani '96, Kenya's ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations. Martin also received an honorary degree.
COLA student fellows, open-minded and determined, are ready for the future.

In 2015, a county agent for UNH Extension started paying closer attention to Franklin, New Hampshire, a small city situated 20 miles north of Concord. Nestled at the intersection of three rivers, was a struggling former mill town that had spent several unsuccessful decades trying to forge a new identity.
“There was a real sense that nothing ever happens here,” says Franklin Mayor Jo Brown, a native of the city. “There was just this pervasive loss of confidence in the town and community.”
For five years, UNH's CoRE program has jump-started interdisciplinary collaborations.
