Please join us congratulating Karen Jensen as the July Research and Innovation Employee of the Month in recognition of outstanding leadership, professionalism, and dedication in coordinating the successful submission of the Âé¶¹app's proposal for the Cooperative Institute for Aquaculture Research and Marketing (CIFARM).
 
Working under an exceptionally demanding three-week deadline, Karen led the development of a complex, multi-institutional proposal exceeding $20 million. She coordinated four subaward packages involving the University of Miami, the University of Southern Mississippi, Hubbs SeaWorld Research Institute, and the University of Hawaii, while serving as the primary liaison with the NOAA Cooperative Institute Administration Office and NOAA Grants Management Division. Her exceptional organization, expertise, and determination culminated in the successful delivery of a comprehensive proposal exceeding 500 pages.
 
Karen's extraordinary efforts were instrumental to the success of this landmark proposal and reflect great credit upon herself, the Âé¶¹app, and the entire CIFARM partnership.
