Artist Bio
John Dunkle has been involved with photography since 1971 – learning and teaching various techniques in both the darkroom and digital workflows.
Today, he offers his personal images to the retail market both through a local Portsmouth gallery and his on-line website and social media accounts. Shooting both film (B&W, C-41 and E-6) and digital, most of his “darkroom work” is now a “digital workflow”.
John is a long time resident of Portsmouth New Hampshire and, when not behind the computer screen editing his latest images or printing his portfolio pieces for various clients, he can be found along the New Hampshire and Maine coastlines, or in the fields, estuaries and local forests capturing the unique character that is "Northern New England”.
