International Experience Opportunities

Internship Programs

Purpose:  Gain professional experience related to your major or future career.
Credit:  Several internships are part of a formal study abroad program. A few students organize UNH independent study or practicum credit. There can be no academic credit for internships without a course component.
Finances:  Those that are for-credit will require program or tuition fees. In these cases, financial aid is available. Financial aid is not available for non-credit internships. While often unpaid, some may offer other compensation (e.g. room, board, reimburse expenses). Global Education Center scholarships may be available for internships. If you are a Paul College student, check  for details about the Internship Opportunity Fund.

Career and Professional Success is a priority at UNH. Internships develop real world skills that prepare students for the global marketplace. Consider adding an international internship to your resume. Determine which path you want to take, either the UNH Path or Independent path and use these resources to help you along the way.

UNH Exchange Program

There are summer internships available through the UNH exchange with Pusan National University, South Korea.

A great way to experience another culture is to immerse yourself by getting involved.  Volunteering for an organization abroad opens up opportunities to make contributions to ongoing projects and find common ground with volunteer colleagues.
