General meeting information

• Faculty Senate meetings are held via Teams from 3:10 to 5:00 pm unless otherwise indicated.
• Senate committees usually meet from 3:10 to 5:00 pm unless otherwise agreed to by the committee.
• The Faculty Senate passed Motion #XXV-M2 on June 29, 2020, to extend the special procedural rule so that the Faculty Senate shall continue to meet extraordinarily via electronic means until such time as the Senate shall vote to resume face-to-face meetings.
• The Faculty Senate passed Motion on January 27, 2025, to resume face-to-face meetings on the Durham campus for the first full Faculty Senate meeting of each academic semester beginning in August 2025.
• Faculty Senate meetings are recorded for the purpose of preparing minutes. These recordings are not available for distribution or publication.
• The Senate constitution provides that: “The meetings of the Faculty Senate will be open to all faculty. Others may be present only on the invitation of the Agenda Committee. Anyone may be recognized to make a presentation at a Faculty Senate meeting, but only senators may propose motions or vote.” Visitors should contact Faculty.Senate@unh.edu to be added to the guest list.
• A senator may designate another member of their department to act as proxy. No senator or proxy may have more than one vote.
• All meeting dates are subject to change.
