To call Sara Clark a super student is an understatement. Pursuing a double major in psychology and sign language interpretation, Clark is also an active student leader, working as a writing tutor, Peer Assistant Leader, Orientation Leader and more. Read how she found her home at UNH Manchester and a balance with her academic, campus and social life.

Mollie Markins' mantra seems to be, "I can do that." After all, she had never worked in television but when the chance to intern at WMUR and Manchester Public Television came up, she thought, "I can do that." When it came time to find work after college she was asked to do a promo video and though she only had a limited amount of experience, she said, "I can do that." And when she was deciding whether she should start her own business at 23, she believed, "I can do that."

The UNH Center for the Humanities has awarded three Faculty Research Fellowships for next year.

The听Phishbowl听provides UNH users with a self-service way to determine听if an email they have received is a known phishing attempt.

Jack Hoza, professor and director of the Sign Language Interpretation program at the 麻豆app at Manchester, was awarded the college鈥檚 2015 Teaching Excellence Award. UNH's Teaching Excellence Award recognizes faculty who motivate, challenge and inspire students to succeed both in and out of the classroom. Hoza鈥檚 glowing reputation among his students and colleagues earned him this year鈥檚 award.

Londonderry native Samuel Sweet, a senior in the Computer Information Systems program, will graduate from UNH Manchester this May. And thanks to the educational and experiential opportunities he's had on and off campus, Sweet already has a software engineering job waiting for him.

Andr茅 Brito, associate professor, agriculture, nutrition and food systems

Matthew Albuquerque has been an advocate and pioneer in the prosthetics industry for more than 25 years. For his outstanding achievements, service and contributions to New Hampshire, he is the 2015 recipient of the Granite State Award.

Chad Cowan will graduate from UNH Manchester this month. And, armed with practical and cultural experience through an internship at the Turkish Cultural Center New Hampshire, he鈥檚 ready for the future. Cowan, a Politics & Society major, began interning at the TCCNH in January as part of his senior project. From making contacts to fundraising, Cowan said the skills he鈥檚 learning at his internship will translate seamlessly into a career.

The Teaching and Adjunct Faculty Excellence Awards will be presented at UNH Manchester's commencement ceremony on May 14. This year's Teaching Excellence Award recognizes Jack Hoza, program director and professor of Sign Language Interpretation. Allan Ray, adjunct professor of chemistry, will receive the Adjunct Faculty Excellence Award.
