For its commitment to advancing the state of parallel programming education, UNH Manchester has been named a GPU Education Center by NVIDIA, the world leader in visual computing. UNH Manchester鈥檚 new GPU computing laboratory will allow the Analytics and Computer Science faculty to expand education and research for students in deep learning, computer vision and speech recognition.

Brendan Landry 鈥�17 is all about fish and fishermen. When he graduated with an undergraduate degree in health management and policy, he was interested in food systems. His in the summer of 2017 ignited a passion for fisheries. Today, Brendan is part of where he works with local fishermen to sell their high-quality seafood to restaurants in New England, and beyond.

As she finds herself living in Houston, TX, the fourth largest city in America, working towards a Master鈥檚 degree, alumna Torie DiPippo thinks, "How did I get myself here? What did I do to get so lucky?" The answer, she says, is simple. "I chose to attend the 麻豆app in Manchester, and they chose to believe in me."

On Friday, August 28, students accepted into UNH Manchester鈥檚 new Student Leadership Academy participated in the Urban Challenge 鈥� a day of adventure-based learning and team-building at three community partner sites. Modeled after The Amazing Race, the Urban Challenge set six teams on a mission to complete problem-solving and skill-based activities at SEE Science Center, Radisson Hotel and Manchester Central Fire Station.

Following a three-year hiatus, the听听(NSRC) has been revitalized, thanks to $2 million in funding for the 2020 fiscal year from the U.S. Forest Service.

Daniel Seichepine, lecturer of psychology, published an article titled "Self-Reported Traumatic Brain Injury, Health and Rate of Chronic Multisymptom Illness in Veterans From the 1990-1991 Gulf War" in the Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation.

Next Friday, 18 UNH Manchester students will step up to the Urban Challenge: a day of adventure-based learning and team-building at sites across Manchester, N.H. The Urban Challenge kicks off the college's new Student Leadership Academy, a program designed to give students the professional and networking opportunities to become a leader in their communities and careers.
