For its commitment to advancing the state of parallel programming education, UNH Manchester has been named a GPU Education Center by NVIDIA, the world leader in visual computing. Brendan Landry ‘17 is all about fish and fishermen. When he graduated with an undergraduate degree in health management and policy, he was interested in food systems. His in the summer of 2017 ignited a passion for fisheries. Today, Brendan is part of where he works with local fishermen to sell their high-quality seafood to restaurants in New England, and beyond.

On Friday, August 28, students accepted into UNH Manchester’s new Student Leadership Academy participated in the Urban Challenge — a day of adventure-based learning and team-building at three community partner sites. Modeled after The Amazing Race, the Urban Challenge set six teams on a mission to complete problem-solving and skill-based activities at SEE Science Center, Radisson Hotel and Manchester Central Fire Station.
