"You bring a hunger for knowledge"

UNH President Mark Huddleston applauded the hard work ofĚý245 graduates in his address at UNH Manchester's 32ndĚýannual commencement ceremonyĚýon Thursday, May 18.

"You bring a hunger for knowledge and seek out opportunities. And your desire to improve your lives, and the lives of your families and your communities, is sincere and unwavering," HuddlestonĚýsaid in hisĚýremarks. "I want to thank all of our graduates for inspiring me, as well, and for inspiring great pride in UNH."

2017 Undergraduate Research Conference Award Winners Announced

Each year, the Âé¶ąapp recognizes and celebrates student work at the Undergraduate Research Conference. Spanning both the Durham and Manchester campuses, the URC is one of the largest conferences of its kind in the nation.

More than 150 students participated in this year’s URC in Manchester, putting their research, creative and scholarly work on display from April 18 to 21. The four-day showcase featured student films, screen plays, student research and presentations across different majors.

“Take more pauses in life"

“Those of you sitting here today have accomplished some amazing things in your time at UNH Manchester,” said Samantha Reynolds, faculty speaker at UNH Manchester'sĚýHonors ConvocationĚýon May 16. “Give yourself the time to acknowledge the work you have done and the pride you feel for your accomplishments. Take the time to absorb your newly acquired knowledge and figure out how it fits in with your world.”
