Intern Spotlight: Macuei Mathiang ’18 at MCE123

Like many graduate students, Macuei Mathiang ’18 juggled school and work while pursuing his . A recent graduate of the program, Mathiang kept busy this summer with a full-time jobĚýas well as an internship to finish out his degree. We caught up with Mathiang to get insight into his experience as a web developer at MCE123, an information technology marketing start-up in Barrington, N.H.

MPH Candidate Pursues Passion for Inclusive Public Health

Each year, the New Hampshire Public Health Association awards the Rising Star Award to a public health professional who has contributed to, and shows significant potential in, the field of public health. This year that recipient was Sara Rainer, a (MPH) candidate a UNH Graduate School in Manchester.

“It was unexpected, and I am deeply honored to have received the Rising Star Award,” Rainer said. “It reflects my growth as a public health professional over the last few years.”
