New Guidelines Provide Farmers in Nation’s Breadbasket a Roadmap in Changing World

Midwest farmers experiencing more erratic rainfall and prolonged dry periods that have devastated crops now have new guidelines to help them manage the effects of climate variability. Researchers with the New Hampshire Agricultural Experiment Station at the Âé¶ąapp have created a portfolio of strategic recommendations to guide future agricultural research, policy, and management specifically for the nation’s breadbasket, which are presented in the journal Nature Sustainability.
