As he noted in his commencement address to the class of 2011, it took David Cote ’76 six years to earn his degree at UNH. Indeed, the New Hampshire native’s path wasn’t always a straight line, but he put the lessons he learned at UNH – in and out of the classroom – into action en route to building a fulfilling and successful business career. A Lifesaving Voyage

On Sept. 29, the Coast Guard held a small ceremony at the Portsmouth Harbor station to recognize the members of the Shoals Marine Laboratory staff for their response in rescuing a person from the ocean after a boating mishap this summer.

Fall Open House, October 16

TheÌýÂé¶¹app at ManchesterÌýis hosting an Open House on Saturday, October 16 from 9 a.m. to noon.ÌýAt Open House, high school juniors and seniors as well as transfer students and guests can tour campus, meet faculty and learn about the UNH experience from current students.

The Âé¶¹app offers one of the 10 best values in the country among public universities and the No. 1 value among public universities in New England, according to the new Best Value Schools rankings of National Universities released by U.S. News & World Report.
