Scholars participate in the King Global Leadership Program (KGLP), which includes workshops, lectures, projects, and experiences that strengthen transformational leadership capabilities.

Knight-Hennessy Recommended Steps and Timeline
- By May 15, 2025: (1) , (2) to ensure you are eligible for the award, and (3) identify the master's degree program to which you'd like to apply.
- By June 3, 2025: Begin your online Knight Hennessy application.
- June - August, 2025: Complete drafts and revisions of short answer questions and essay.
- By August 5, 2025: Sign and return nomination agreement form.
- August 19, 2025, 5pm ET: INTERNAL DEADLINE - Submit all materials to Office of National Fellowships by end of day.
- Early September, 2025: Committee Interview for Endorsement Letter
