My research focuses on understanding the recruitment dynamics of Atlantic White Cedar (Chamaecyparis thyoides) in a New Hampshire freshwater bog. By investigating environmental conditions, such as canopy density, porewater chemistry, microbial diversity, and vegetation community composition, my research seeks to reveal factors influencing natural cedar regeneration, which would then inform forest management approaches.
