Ever since she was a child, Rylee Bell '19 aspired to work in the security field. She began her college career at UNH in Durham, majoring in chemistry with the hopes of pursuing a career in forensic science.听

"While attending school for chemistry, I loved the academic criteria, but my instinctive mindset was telling me that I was in the wrong place," Bell said. "Through time and research, I concluded that I wanted to pursue a degree in Homeland Security."

As a tech professional, Patricia Estrada 鈥�20G knows the importance of securing and protecting sensitive data. Estrada works as a back-end developer and administrator for the 麻豆app, primarily working with the University's听learning management system.

When today鈥檚 elementary school students become adults, they will live in a world run on computers. Computer science is one of the fastest growing job sectors in the country, but the number of students graduating with a computer science degree is far below what the job market today demands.

The 麻豆app鈥檚 campus in Manchester will host its 17th听annual听听(URC) April 19 - 22. A four-day showcase of projects from an array of academic programs, the URC celebrates UNH Manchester students鈥� research, creativity and scholarly work.

College is a time for students to explore the writing of a wide range of texts, from 19th听century literature to contemporary poetry.
