Melissa Fazlic
Melissa is an accomplished Human Resources professional with over a decade of experience across healthcare, public sector, and public-school settings. In her current role as the Director of Human Resources for a local public school district, she oversees a wide spectrum of HR operations from policy development and employee training to recruiting, contract negotiations, and strategic retention practices. A recent graduate of UNH College of Professional Studies with a Master of Science in Leadership, Melissa is also a certified SHRM-CP professional. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys traveling, spending quality time with her family, camping, skiing, and cooking.
Vice President
Travis Beeson
Travis brings a diverse background spanning the food, customer service, medical, and tech industries. As the Executive Vice President of the UNH CPS Virtual SHRM Chapter, he leverages his extensive experience in supervisory and managerial roles. Currently working as a Billing/Collections Specialist for RightWorks in Nashua, Travis is pursuing his BS in Business Management with a focus on Accounting at UNH. With aspirations for an MBA and a potential JD, he balances his professional life with hobbies such as gaming, streaming, and cooking, while also indulging his passion for World War II history, off-roading adventures, and cherished family moments with his wife Megan, son Isaiah, and their cat Holly.

Crystal Smith
Crystal comes with over 25 years of experience in human resources and holds a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management. As a proud mother of five, she values balance, resilience, and empathy qualities that she brings to her professional role. Dedicated to building strong teams and fostering inclusive workplace cultures, Crystal is a passionate DEI ambassador who believes that investing in personal growth and embracing diverse perspectives leads to more innovative and collaborative organizations.
Director of Corporate Relations
Madison Vasquez
Madison serves as the Director of Programming for the CPS Student Virtual SHRM Chapter. With a robust background in employer relations and career services, she is currently pursuing an MS in Leadership at UNH College of Professional Studies. Focused on talent and organizational development, Madison works diligently to build strong employer relationships that create accessible career opportunities for UNH students and alumni
Director of Community Relations and Development
Michael Cashion
Michael is the Sr Program Assistant at the NH Small Business Development Center, where he supports a team of 14 business advisors and thousands of small businesses across New Hampshire. In addition, he serves as the Membership Coordinator at the Executive Health & Sports Center. Michael’s prior experience includes roles with the Morgan Investment Group and Alpha Loft, where he honed his skills in operations and communication. An active alum of Leadership New Hampshire and other leadership programs, he is currently pursuing a B.S. in Professional Communication with a concentration in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication while continuing his commitment to community engagement and professional growth.
Director of Student Relations
Philip Charbonneau
Philip has spent a decade as the Residential Operations Manager at Dartmouth College, managing student workers across various programs, following five years in student relations at the Tuck School of Business. Now in his third year at UNH CPS pursuing a B.S. in Management with a concentration in leadership, change, and social responsibility, Philip balances his professional endeavors with a passion for reading, outdoor activities with his family, and competitive table top and video gaming. He views his journey in Human Resource Management as both a professional commitment and a personal passion.
