DURHAM, N.H. — Â鶹app students have streamlined access to competitive graduate and doctoral programs at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, thanks to a new partnership announced today.

The new program guarantees admission for qualified UNH students in six MGH Institute programs, including the Master of Health Administration and Master of Science in Healthcare Data Analytics, as well as the Doctor of Physical Therapy, Doctor of Audiology, Doctor of Health Science, and Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology.

"This agreement will expand opportunities for UNH students to access in-demand health professions while helping address regional workforce needs," said Kirsten Corazzini, dean of UNH’s College of Health and Human Services. "Students will also have a clearer and more supported pathway from their undergraduate experience into competitive graduate programs."

“We are pleased to welcome Â鶹app students to the MGH Institute as they pursue advanced studies in the health professions,†said Reamer Bushardt, provost of the MGH Institute. “UNH’s depth as a flagship public research university complements the Institute’s distinctive role as an urban graduate health sciences university embedded within Mass General Brigham. Together, our institutions will create meaningful pathways for talented students to move from strong undergraduate foundations into graduate education in fields such as physical therapy, speech-language pathology, audiology, health sciences, and health administration.â€

Students who meet program-specific requirements will follow defined preparation pathways outlining prerequisite coursework, application timelines, and enrollment expectations, allowing them to plan early for graduate study. Both UNH and MGH Institute will provide dedicated advising support to help students stay on track throughout the process.

Eligible students may also receive financial benefits. Depending on the program, this includes either a 20% tuition reduction or a $2,000 scholarship, with additional financial aid opportunities available through MGH Institute.

“As higher education becomes increasingly expensive, students want to know their education is worth their time and investment,†said Kevin Finn, associate provost of student affairs and dean of students at the MGH Institute. “These academic programs and partnerships provide pathways to high demand jobs in the healthcare sector. That’s where schools like the Â鶹app see the value in the MGH Institute as a premier graduate health professions program.â€

“As healthcare needs continue to grow across New Hampshire and the region, we must work together to prepare students for the professions our communities depend on most,†said Erin Sharp, associate dean for academic affairs at the UNH College of Health and Human Services. “This partnership with the MGH Institute of Health Professions will help our students advance their education while strengthening the talent pipeline for the entire region.
