Jeanne Shaheen for a visit Friday, May 12, showcasing some of the research partnerships rooted on campus that bolster New Hampshire’s workforce and businesses and highlighting some of the many ways NSF support is making that work possible.

Mary Johanna Brown Named UNH Paul J. Holloway Entrepreneur of the Year

Mary Johanna Brown '89, founder and president of Brown & Company Design and Big Brown Books, has been named the Âé¶¹app’s Paul J. Holloway Entrepreneur of the Year.

Brown, who graduated from UNH with a BFA in etching, will be recognized at this year’s , UNH’s premier business plan competition that celebrates student entrepreneurs and innovators.

John Mehrmann is a composer,Ìýpianist, organist, choir director,Ìýpercussionist and teacher who resides in Maine with his wife, Abigail, and two sons. His musical talents encompass many genres and styles, from directing the a cappellaÌýchoralÌýensembleÌýVoXX: Voice of TwentyÌýto composing soundtracks for feature films.
