The Concord Monitor recently reported on how the COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately affected women economically, in particular women of color. The article citied 2020 research published by the Carsey School and authored Rogelio Saenz and Corey Sparks that shows Latina women had some of the highest jobless rates throughout the beginning of the pandemic.
