According to Jessica Carson, an assistant research professor at the Carsey School, seasonalÌýhomes in New Hampshire account for more than 10% of all housing units, a proportion topped by only Maine at 16.4% and Vermont at 15.6%. More than 46,000 of the estimated 66,000 seasonal homes are in Belknap, Carroll, Coos, and Grafton counties. This is raising concerns within the community as to what will happen when these homes are filled by outsiders during the summer.Ìý
