The Pittsburg, Kansas-based Morning Sun newspaper recently reported that the state taxes collected in Kansas have been largely unaffected by the resurgence of the coronavirus pandemic and wereÌýhigher than to be expected. A report conducted in JulyÌýby the research team atÌýCarsey School of Public Policy showedÌýKansas was one of the only states, out of 14 total, with a larger economy following the first quarter of 2021.Ìý
