One of America's oldest existing structures, Long Wharf encapsulates the most important events in Boston history and is also the topic of associate professor Kelly听Kilcrease鈥檚听newest book听鈥淏oston Long Wharf: A Path to the Sea.鈥澨齏hile the wharf served as a place for local merchants to sell everything from rum and spice to flour and tea,听Kilcrease听also explores its darker side and how it played a prominent role during the American Revolution.听

Kilcrease is an associate professor of听听at the听听and the author of numerous published articles on small business development and business history.听
