Christopher LeBlanc, associate professor of at , was elected as chair of programming for the Engineering Technology Division of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), which has more than 12,000 membersÌýin academia, government and industry. promotes excellence in engineering technology education by offering professional development andÌýgrant opportunities, sponsoring national and regional meetings, publishing The Journal of Engineering Technology and advancing access to postsecondary education in engineering. During his one-year term as chair, LeBlanc will organize technical sessions and business meetings, manage paper submissions, assign peer reviewers and select moderators for the 2021 ASEE Annual Conference & Exposition in Long Beach, Calif., in June. LeBlanc previously served as co-chair for the 2020 ASEE conference, which was held virtually in July.
