New York Sen.ÌýKirsten Gillibrand visited campus recently toÌýeat lunch, answer questionsÌýand discuss her campaign for president with UNH students. The event was sponsored by the student group, UNH College Democrats.Ìý Gillibrand, a Democratic member of the U.S. Senate from New York, announced on Jan.Ìý15 that she is running for president in 2020.Ìý It is anticipated that many presidential candidates will make campaign visits to the UNH campus in advance of the February 2020 New Hampshire first-in-the-nation presidential primary.
