The Âé¶¹app School of Law and its Franklin Pierce Center for Intellectual Property are excited to announce a partnership with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) for a 2017 IP summer academy.
The two-week residential academy will be held on the Âé¶¹app main campus in Durham, N.H. beginning on Monday, May 22Ìýand ending on Friday, June 2.ÌýThe summer academy is open to up to 50 senior students (graduate and postgraduate) and young professionals from any field of study or discipline (though the program is designed for candidates who already possess a familiarity with IP.)
ÌýRegistration for the academy is open until March 17.
All applicants are required to have successfully completed the WIPO distance learning General Course on Intellectual Property before the registration deadline. Please note that priority will be given to those who have completed the course in the selection of participants.
Applications must be submitted online with résumés, letters of motivation, and copies of passports (or identity cards). Those applicants who are selected will receive notification two weeks after the registrationÌýdeadline.
