听has听awarded the 2016听Presidents' Good Steward Award to , assistant professor of biological science.

Halpin, who teaches in the and programs at UNH Manchester, was recognized with the award for her tremendous听outreach in sharing expertise and passion for science with the wider community.

Halpin's efforts听include implementing the American Physiological Society鈥檚 PhUn (Physiology Understanding) Week Outreach Program and听conducting PhUn activities with Manchester听middle and high school students who participate in UNH Manchester's听. In addition, Halpin leads elementary school students in the design and implementation of an exercise physiology experiment each year.听
