What can make a diehard skier happier than an impending dump of snow? Saving a little green to get onto the white. This season, the UNH ski team is teaming up with Ski NH to offer a lot of skiing at a great value, with proceeds benefitting the Wildcat skiers.

In partnership with Ski NH, the UNH skiing program is offering a special reduced rate on a 64-ticket booklet to all alpine and Nordic ski areas in New Hampshire, from mega-mountains like Loon and Bretton Woods to Granite State classics like Cannon and Cranmore to family favorites Black Mountain, King Pine, and McIntyre. Cross-country ski areas around the state, from Windblown at the Massachusetts border to Jackson XC near Pinkham Notch, are included.

The booklets, valued at $2,178, are being sold for $1,400 apiece; each booklet contains two tickets to every ski area in the state. Past sales of these ticket books have brought up to $20,000 per year to the UNH Nordic and alpine ski teams.

鈥淭he proceeds are an important part of our budget and help us provide racing opportunities to the team,鈥� says Nordic skiing head coach Cory Schwartz.
